The Soulworks Approach
Our approach is built on the therapeutic pillars of awareness, experience, and expression. The focus is on healing and reclamation of aspects of yourself that have been wounded, and understanding and expelling your internalized negative belief systems. You will develop a healthy supportive relationship with self, opening doors to a world of choices that you can approach from a place of strength.
Grounded in a deep understanding of the human psyche, our program integrates contemporary psychotherapy with meditation and ancient eastern wisdom. Our emphasis is on providing the support and nurturing you need to explore, experience, heal and grow.
Prior to the actual retreat, we will discuss with you the specific life challenge or core issues you are wishing to address. With this information, we collaborate on the development of a customized program tailored to achieve your desired outcome.

Practices We Employ
We offer an experiential approach to your healing, and have found two practices to be profoundly helpful.
The first is the cleansing and spiritual transformation that comes through the sacred and ancient practice of walking a labyrinth. When we walk you through a labyrinth, you won’t be the same upon exiting.
The second involves various Eastern healing and self-development techniques that help expand consciousness, such as meditation, mindfulness, and chakra cleansing and awakening. These techniques facilitate the ability to be present, to manage one’s emotions appropriately, and to experience a sense of love and connection to self and all of life.
Art therapy is a third practice that we sometimes employ.
